The first five weeks are used for handicapping and all shooters will shoot a total of 50 targets: 25 targets from the 16-yard line and 25 targets from the 24-yard line. During this first five weeks, a shooter may shoot ahead or behind.
Once the first five weeks are complete, teams are classified by ability:
- AAA teams shoot from the 16/27 yard lines
- AA teams shoot from the 16/26 yard lines
- A teams shoot from the 16/25 yard lines
- Etc.
During the final nine weeks, shooters may only shoot ahead — not from behind — the listed schedule.
Teams will consist of a minimum of five shooters and a maximum of six. Each week the low score on the six-man teams will be thrown out. On five-man teams, all scores are recorded.
During the team-to-team competition weeks, two points are awarded for a win and one point is awarded for a tie. At the end of the nine competition weeks, all ties for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will shoot off to determine a winner. |
